For the locals in Sydney, I had the pleasure of engaging in some epic battles on the mat at Pan Pacs and ADCC trials in Melbourne with one Miss Jess Fraser.
With Jess in town for a weekend, we just couldn't resist having a roll. Joining us on the mats - MMA superstar Shizuka Sugiyama, and our very own champion purple belt featherweight Julian Alva.
Even though we battle it out on the mats, it was great to have Jess come visit for a roll and a chat. Jiu Jitsu is not that big for girls in Australia, and its always nice to have someone to roll with that's your size, and that understands some of the challenges faced being a girl in a male-dominated sport!
